StoryFile

Co-Founder Heather Maio-Smith conceptualized using Conversational Video and AI to collect interviews with survivors of the Holocaust in 2010. The idea soon evolved into the company StoryFile.

Launched in 2017, StoryFile believes everyone has a story to tell. With its cloud-based artificial intelligence system, StoryFile now offers millions of people the opportunity to create and engage with Conversational Video AI.

Through the click of a button, StoryFile transforms traditional one-way media into active two-way conversations.

The team at StoryFile consists of technologists, creative producers, technical project managers, writers, and much more who believe in making AI feel more human. We work with museums, educational institutions, and businesses across the globe in producing conversational interactive experiences.

Meta

At the 2021 International Forum on Holocaust Remembrance and Combating Anti-Semitism in Malmö, Meta pledged to use its resources to ensure that Holocaust remembrance, education and work against antisemitism are reflected in its efforts to build a safer future.

In addition, as part of Meta’s overall commitment to combat hate and racism and preventing genocide, Meta is providing resources for Holocaust education and remembrance.

This project is also intended to be an impetus for exchange on the possibilities that the Metaverse can provide for education, building empathy and preserving testimonies.
